Shodan

Shodan is the first kata in karate.You must know Shodan to be able to reach the standard of an orange belt (8th Kyu).

Nidan

Nidan is the second kata in karate.You must know Nidan to be able to reach the standard of a Green belt (7th Kyu)

Sandan

Sandan is the third kata in karate.You must know Sandan to be able to reach the standard of a red Belt (6th Kyu).
